Today the farm is a model of modern Wine, Olive and Fruit farming and an unspoilt tourist destination, sharing everything the majestic mountains have to offer
The farm is zoned in 3 main growing areas according to the soil types and microclimate. The Northwest FACING UPPER SLOPES, the Northeast FACING HILLS and the LOWER VALLEY below the main homestead. The altitude of the farm ranges between 180 and 310 metres above sea level.
The main soil types are Tukulu, Oakleaf, Glenrosa and Vilafontes and the terroir is well situated for the growing of Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon and Shiraz grapes.
25 Hectares of organic grape growing are in development since 2021. All the grapes are hand harvested, vinified and barrel matured in a small boutique cellar on the farm.
We are certified as organic by Control Union.
Buyers can choose between the following products:
- Wine from organic grapes: Bottled wines from organic grapes, cellared traditionally with addition of sulphur and oaked in new and 2nd fill barrique barrels for 18 months. Samples available for testing in South Africa and Europe. Dispatch to other areas can be arranged. Up to 100.000 bottles can be produced p.a.
- Fully organic wine: Wine from organic grapes, produced without any sulphur or other additives, fully natural. We have produced 300 bottles of the 2018 fully organic Merlot as samples for tasting. International dispatch can be arranged at request. We can produce up to 50.000 bottles of this wine by order.
- Organic bulk wine: Up to 100.000 litres

As well as from the best grape musts the best wines are achieved; from the most delicious Spanish oranges and tangerines we get Tarongino.
Valencia is a land of Sun, sea, health,..., all this energy is concentrated in the organic oranges we grow to produce Tarongino, the essence of the Mediterranean

Name:
Tarongino is a marriage between orange and wine. The Valencian word for orange is “Taronja”, and the Spanish word for wine is “vino”, mixed together we have “Tarongino”.

Colour:
It presents an amber colour with light golden reflections and a dense and slow tear.
Nose:
A burst of citrus aromas conjugated with a carousel of light quince notes, honey and orange blossom.
Mouth:
It is expressed in mouth with a long and persistent fruitiness with a final taste that recalls the orange blossom along with the skin of our oranges and Clementines.
