We have ISO9001 certification in this way we can ensure the traceability of the products.
We control the quality of the products by GC-MS.

We work only with biological producers from Portugal and own production.

Description : The Morarka Foundation was set up by Mr. Kamal Morarka in 1993 in memory of his late father M.R. Morarka, and as a corporate social responsibility initiative by Gannon Dunkerley & Company Ltd. The Morarka Foundation has been engaged in the creation of wealth and knowledge for the nation through innovations in resource management and capacity building of the people.
The participatory planning process, involving over 10000 farm families, identified 'reduction in the cost of cultivation' as the core issue for interventions in the Nawalgarh block of Jhunjhunu district, a semi-arid region in India.
In its efforts to find solutions, it innovated on-farm fertility management practices based on 'vermiculture technology'. Development and dissemination of this know-how to over 1,00,000 farmers in 3 years caused it to become the single largest producer of vermi-cast in the world. This technology was awarded for excellence in technology innovation by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India in the year 2001 and 2002.
Introduction of on-farm fertility management practices led to compliance with organic standards and thus the Foundation started organizing farmers to take up one of the largest organic agriculture development programmes in India.
Over the years, The Morarka Foundation has also evolved a pro-biotic approach to pest management.
Since organic cultivation was intrinsically linked to certification, the Foundation innovated IT based group certification norms, in compliance with world organic standards.

Description : The origin of Morarka Foundation’s field activities from Nawalgarh, a semi-arid region on the periphery of the Thar Desert in India, has been a blessing in disguise. Extreme climates, very high temperatures, less than 500mm annual rainfall with only about 20 rainy days in a year, undulating lands, sandy soils and very little water for irrigation offered perfect conditions for testing the new technologies and methodologies for organic management. Anything which could succeed here would have a very high success potential elsewhere, and this has been amply evident in the overall success achieved in last 10 years. Beginning with just about 500 farmers about 10 years ago, today there are now over 1,00,000 farmers spread all over India cultivating over 2,50,000 acres land under organic management. These farmers are producing over 300 different crops, out of which over 100 crops have already been brought under the organic value chain management.
Description : From being in the back end of the value chain for over 10 years, Morarka Organic has now got into the front end, i.e., retailing of certified organic products under its own brand 'Down to Earth'. While this initiative is expected to provide direct linkages to the thousands of certified organic producers, it will also enable quality conscious consumers to access the very best quality of food deserved by them at reasonable prices.

In the Bordablanca farm, fed by the Irati River, Josenea cultivates 100% in an organic way more than 60 different varieties of medicinal and aromatic plants. Neither pesticides nor chemical fertilizers are used and special care is put in the cultivation guaranteeing the conservation of the active beginning. The plantation of ecological cultivation allows us to reach the main mission of the association. Since 2002 Josenea‘s main objective is to integrate in the labor market people, who find more difficulties at the time of joining the labor market.
