BIOFACH JAPAN returns in September. Other BIOFACH World events around the globe are already in the starting blocks.
All around the world, representatives of the organic food industry gather at various BIOFACH World events. With a total of 8 events meanwhile, the network provides international exposure for the sector. The next trade fairs are already in the starting blocks. As well as BIOFACH JAPAN, which returns after a break with the BIOFACH JAPAN Pavilion, they are BIOFACH INDIA, BIOFACH CHINA, BIOFACH AMERICA and BIOFACH SAUDI ARABIA.
BIOFACH JAPAN
The wait is finally over: From 1–3 September 2023, BIOFACH JAPAN will take place as part of the GOOD LIFE Fair at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition grounds. The GOOD LIFE Fair is a new exhibition
format for organic food, lifestyle and sustainability, and is directed at interested parties from the B2B and high-income B2C segments. “We are extremely pleased to be organising BIOFACH JAPAN in
collaboration with our partner Asahi Shimbun. Through this partnership we have gained an exceptionally competent and experienced player from the sector for BIOFACH World!”, explains
Christian Beyer, Manager International Events at NürnbergMesse. “In recent years, the Japanese market for organic food has experienced enormous growth, with an average annual growth rate of 7.2%
between 2016 and 2021. And things will continue to look up in the next few years: According to forecasts, the market is set to grow to $1.94 billion by 2026. This is therefore the ideal scenario
for BIOFACH JAPAN.”
The GOOD LIFE Fair 2023 expects to welcome 400 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors. In 2023, interested companies can opt to have a product display or their own stand area at the BIOFACH JAPAN

BIOFACH INDIA
The 15th round of BIOFACH INDIA will be held from 7–9 September 2023. Together with the NATURAL EXPO INDIA and MILLETS INDIA, it brings together experts, companies and start-ups from the organic,
natural food and millet segments at the India Expo Mart (IEML), Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The trade fair trio including supporting programme promises to deliver a wealth of presentations, expert
discussions, trending topics and product diversity.

BIOFACH CHINA
BIOFACH CHINA is also celebrating its comeback. Following several pandemic-induced postponements last year, the event is now in the starting blocks. It will take place from 19–21 September 2023 parallel to the NATURAL EXPO CHINA in the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The sector is ready for its reunion in September and eager to discover trends and innovations, share ideas and forge contacts. The “Big Buyer Invitation Plan”, which is already up and running, enables BIOFACH CHINA to connect key players. Between June and August 2023, the trade fair introduces exhibitors participating in the current round to important retailers and distributors from the organic sector. In this way it is opening up the organic network and providing ideal matchmaking opportunities ahead of the event.

BIOFACH SAUDI ARABIA
Following its successful premiere in 2022, preparations for the 2nd BIOFACH SAUDI ARABIA are in full swing. From 19–21 November 2023, the fair will take place in co-location with the Saudi Halal Expo, organised by 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences. The youngest member of the BIOFACH World family will thus provide the organic hub for the MENA region.
The event guarantees lively exchanges on global and regional issues. These include, for example, the procurement of organic fertilisers or the challenges relating to water resources in the region.
Alongside the numerous national and international exhibitors, the event also features presentations, discussion panels and workshops. The official German Pavilion subsidised by the German Federal
Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL) is enabling eight German companies to get exposure at the venue.

BIOFACH Nuremberg
Next year too, the organic community’s calendar is already jam-packed. It will kick off in February with BIOFACH in Nuremberg. From 13–16 February 2024, the World's Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food will gather international representatives from along the entire supply chain in its exhibition halls and online on the digital event platform. It will then be time to discover the huge product range of the participating exhibitors once again in what will be a feast for the senses. The accompanying BIOFACH Congress also offers a wide-ranging, sector-specific programme. The focus theme 2024 will be “Food for the Future: Women’s Impact on Sustainable Food Systems”.
Save the date: The 35th round of BIOFACH will take place in Nuremberg from 13–16 February 2024.
BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA
In conjunction with the BIO BRAZIL FAIR and Naturaltech, BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA enjoyed a successful run from 14– 17 June 2023. To recap: Around 52,000 visitors converged on the exhibition halls of the Anhembi Exhibition Centre in São Paulo. This is equivalent to a growth rate of 44% compared with the 2022 event. The 730 exhibitors and the supporting programme reflected current trends and innovations and highlighted the potential of the region. The business round tables offered a venue for retailers and manufacturers to come together in 292 individual meetings.

BIOFACH SOUTH EAST ASIA
Save the date: The 3rd BIOFACH SOUTH EAST ASIA will take place alongside the NATURAL EXPO SOUTH EAST ASIA in Bangkok in 2024.
