Au cœur du Var, au pied du Massif des Maures, le climat est idéal pour la culture de la vigne en agriculture biologique. C’est le choix qui a été fait par Camille, fille du propriétaire du domaine, qui a converti le vignoble en bio il y a quelques années.
La terre caillouteuse et profonde du terroir exceptionnel de Pierrefeu pousse les vignes à donner le meilleur d’elles-mêmes, pour offrir des vins d’une grande qualité.
Pour entretenir naturellement la vitalité des terres, elles sont travaillées régulièrement par des labours. Le domaine favorise l’enherbement pour développer la vie des sols, la santé des vignes, et préserver la biodiversité.
La vinification
Le vin est vinifié selon les principes de l’agriculture biologique.
Après avoir été récoltés, les raisins sont mis à macérer pendant quelques heures, puis sont pressés. Les jus obtenus sont ensuite débourbés, puis mis en fermentation sous températures contrôlées pendant une semaine environ.
Les vins sont ensuite sous-tirés, filtrés puis mis en bouteille, ou conservés en cuves.
Les cépages
Cette cuvée est un subtil assemblage de Grenache, Cinsault et Syrah.
La dégustation
La robe claire et le nez subtil aux arômes d’agrumes et de fruit blancs promettent une bouche complexe et fine marquée par des notes florales.
Servi entre 10 et 12°C, ce vin s’accordera parfaitement à vos apéritifs gourmands et à vos planchas de viandes et de poissons.
