Natural Preservatives 2006


The Second Congress on Natural Preservatives will be held on June 7th-8th, 2006 at the Marriott Amsterdam Hotel, Amsterdam, Holland ( http://www.baktoflavors.com/natural2006 ). After our first successful meeting in the United States and because of the great demand for information on natural preservatives, we have decided to organize a second meeting in Europe.


The meeting will be preceded by a workshop that will be held on June 6th, dealing with the measurement of antioxidant activity, taught by Dr. Karen Schiach, Rutgers University, an expert in redox chemistry. This year’s symposium will deal with major issues and developments in the natural preservatives industry, as well as developments in the cosmetics and animal feed industries. There is increased commercial interest in the use of natural preservatives in various products, as companies begin to move away from synthetic products and antibiotics.
