Organic Originality and Innovation Set the Stage for All Things Organic™ In Chicago

GREENFIELD, Mass. (April 17, 2006) — It's possible to think "All Things Organic" these days as the number of? innovative organic products from healthy packaged snacks and beverages to products for pets and the home keeps growing.? All this and more will be featured at the Organic Trade Association's 2006 All Things Organicä Conference and Trade Show May 6-9 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The May 2006 event will mark its sixth year, and the third year All Things Organic™ has teamed up with four other shows--in an event billed as "The Power of Five"--with the Food Marketing Institute Show, the Spring Fancy Food Show®, United Produce Expo and Conference, and the U.S. Food Export Showcase. All Things Organicä is the only all-organic trade show in North America.

The $15 billion organic industry remains the fastest growing sector of America's food industry, and shows no sign of slowing down. This spectacular growth is due largely to the quality and environmental benefits of a business community whose creativity sparks ever-increasing demand for more organic products.

"Today's consumers are conscious about the environment and are demanding more organic products than ever before," said Caren Wilcox, the Organic Trade Association's new executive director.? "In addition to food, products for the home, such as linens, candles, cleaning products and especially products for children, are in high demand."

The tremendous growth and new product offerings for children and the home have led to two new and exciting features at the 2006 trade show floor:? An "Organic for Kids" product showcase and "The Corner Store...Organic and more, for every lifestyle." The latter will include non-food organic products from exhibitors. Peter Millard, a prominent retail designer whose clients include Ralph Lauren, Armani, and Chanel, will design this display.

All Things Organic™ will also feature the popular New Product Showcase with more than sixty innovative organic offerings backed up by more than 450 booths presenting fresh organic approaches to a wide variety of products.
